Three Ways to Wear a Basic Men's T-Shirt

T-shirts are one of the most versatile and easy tops for men to wear. Everyone knows that a t-shirt and jeans is a can't-miss casual look. It's also possible, however, to wear a t-shirt and still be fashionable. Whether you want to impress a lady or just hang out in a pub with your friends, wearing t-shirts as part of an overall outfit can keep you looking your best.

One way to look good is to choose a neutral coloured t-shirt and combine it with tight-fitting jeans. For example, try wearing a black t-shirt with slim or skinny jeans. This can give you a modest or casual look that will impress. The nice thing about neutral coloured t-shirts is that they can make you blend into a crowd, but people will take notice once they set eyes on you. In addition to black, experiment with a white or grey t-shirt. Whereas black is great for hiding bulges in your upper body, white and grey can be used to show off if you are proud of your chest and stomach. Try tucking the shirt into skinny jeans for a stylish, casual look. If you want to try a little more colour, throw on a navy t-shirt instead.

Another way to look good wearing t-shirts is to go with bright colours. A bright blue or green coloured t-shirt can make you stand out in a crowd and make people notice you. Pair the t-shirt with coloured jeans for an extra bold look. Wearing a variety of different bright colours can be especially useful if you are looking for the right kind of attention. Chances are you won't be dressed like anyone else around you. Imagine being at a club with other men in drab coloured suits and shirts. You'll be comfortable in a t-shirt and jeans, but will be the centre of focus. You can even try a bright pastel colour to emphasize the bold look.

Finally, a patterned t-shirt with plain jeans can give you a contrasting look. A simple way to do this is to find a plaid t-shirt and wear it with regular blue jeans. Tuck it in or don't. Either way, you'll have an outfit that makes you look stylish without trying. There are other patterns you can consider as well. Try a checked t-shirt and jeans for a different kind of contrasting look. Wearing a t-shirt with vertical stripes is a great way to look taller and thinner, if that's a concern for you. If it's not, consider horizontal stripes of any colour.

T-shirts are more than just clothes to throw on when you have nothing else to wear. If you match them properly with jeans and consider their colour and pattern carefully, you can give yourself an entirely new look without spending too much money or putting in too much effort. You will look suave yet casual, an irresistible look that will get you noticed.
