When I was younger, the best part of my week was definitely waking up on Saturday morning and watching cartoons while shoveling down bowl after bowl of sugary cereal. This was really the only time during the week I was allowed to watch television and I relished every minute of it. When I got older and was out on my own I couldn't afford to get cable and my television watching dropped even further. I missed those lazy mornings in my pajamas and tried to think of ways that I could entertain myself without those cartoons I loved so much. I tried everything, running, meditation, coffee klatches, nothing worked. It just wasn't the same. I tried to budget cable into my finances and couldn't make it work. Then I got an idea. I started watching funny videos online. I could still get my cartoon fix by gong to free movie sites online and watching my favorite old cartoons there. Everyone needs an internet connection to even function in today's society. It's become a necessity, and families everywhere are looking for ways to cut costs without losing the internet. You don't need cable to entertain you, and that is a huge expense out of the monthly budget. All you need is a good site where you can watch free full movies online. Once I learned this trick, I also started throwing little date nights that would be at my house instead of out at the movie theatre. The price of movie tickets is astronomical these days. For that price I could cook a nice dinner, get a bottle of wine, and set up the living room to watch new free movies online. You might think your choices are limited but when you find a great site, they update their content often and you're never stuck wondering what to watch. You can find something for everyone, documentaries, indie films, and yes, of course cartoons, and you can do it all without breaking the bank. Honestly, the cost savings are huge just by doing these few things. Entertainment doesn't have to be costly and you don't have to give up on your dream of sitting in your pajamas watching cartoons on Saturday mornings. So go ahead, grab the captain crunch or the count chocula and dig in. You don't need cable. Besides, Saturday morning cartoons these days definitely aren't as good as the ones you watched as a kid, right?
