Everyone knows fitness is the key to looking and feeling good. It is true for every part of your body from your legs to your face. The face is an oft neglected body part when it comes to exercise. Many people think they get enough facial exercise by simply talking to people, reacting to things, and smiling. This could not be further from the truth (especially for the more stoic among us).

It is ironic in fact, that so many people pack into gyms in an attempt to make themselves look better while neglecting their faces. A first impression is very important, and what is more important in a first impression than someone's face? It is going to be a lot harder for people to notice your six pack abs if they are focusing on your jowls.

That is why doing facial exercises every day is as important as exercising the other parts of your body, especially if you are single and looking to mingle. Facial exercise can help you get rid of undereye circles, facial wrinkles and double or triple chins.

Like with all things, some people will be tempted to take the easy way out. In the world of "facercising" this is called Botox or plastic surgery. Don't let some medical charlatan trick you into allowing him to inject lethal nerve toxins into your face. Botox kills nerves, causes pain, can cause complications, and is pricey. None of this would bother me if it didn't look terrible. Everyone can tell when you have had Botox and it looks fake. Also the effects fade after two or three years. Then you are right back to the Botox clinic like a junkie after their next fix. When does it end?

Facial exercise is all natural and the effects are cumulative not diminishing. It is healthy and is the closest thing you can do reverse the signs of aging on your face. Don't be fooled be medical procedures, expensive creams, and holistic facial treatments. They make work for a while but they don't address the root cause of facial wrinkles and unsightly sagging neck.

It is a sad fact, but we live in a looks driven society. If your face is slowly becoming a melted wax sculpture then you will be left in the dust. Potential mates, friends, and employers are all going to be looking at pictures of your face online before they make any decisions about you. Do you want them to see a wrinkly leather sack with eyes? Or a robust and expressive work of art?
