When it comes to style, you may often forget that you can accessorize for the top of your head, in more ways than just a cute hat. Headscarves and other head coverings can be used to add to an outfit or create a specific look. You can use headbands and hair bows and so much more than the usual hats and bobby pins. Why not try something a little different? When it comes to headscarves, they are both beautiful and useful. They are great for adding an extra layer on the head in the winter and can add to any outfit. Whether you cover the whole top of the head, tie it into a pony tail, or find a variety of ways to fold it, it's a very versatile accessory. You can find a head scarf in virtually any fabric you can think of, you'd be surprised at how many different kinds they come in, from silk to velvet to 100% cotton. They are also very affordable so you can be sure to buy quite a few in basic colors as well as patterns to match multiple outfits. Headbands are not just for pushing hair out of the face; they can add a lot of great style as well. Headbands now have such interesting designs and over the top decals that you can use them as a show stopper. A headband with flowers can add some femininity to your outfit, or one with rhinestones can add a rock star flair. They are comfortable and sit well so you don't have to worry about losing them. Hair bows may seem to be the kind of accessory you only wear as a kid, but they are making a really big comeback with adults and can look great if you wear them properly. Just one on the side of the head works fine. Two bows, or tying them around ponytails, may look a little too childish. And, make sure the bows are small and work with the outfit you are wearing. They can be super cute with a great summer dress, but odd with jeans a t-shirt. Don't rule out great hair coverings as part of your outfit. In fact, make them a part of your style. You'll have your own unique style and will be able to match them easily with any trends that come to pass. You'll also find that because of their affordability, you'll be able to have several to switch through, making every outfit different.
