Oasis is one of the most popular brands of water coolers on the market. When you choose to have Oasis water coolers in the office or even in your own home, you want ones that are going to work for the long haul and provide you with clean water. But, you also have to know how to care for your water coolers or else they won't last nearly as long as you'd hope. And, constantly getting them fixed or replaced can be a big out-of-pocket cost for you, especially if you represent a big business that has multiple water coolers in its office. The biggest issue you are going to have with any water coolers is the presence of bacteria and mold. Such a buildup will occur and it is important for you to know how to clean your Oasis water coolers to rid them of these harmful contaminants. You should clean your water cooler a maximum of every six weeks, or with every other bottle change, if the water cooler is consistently and constantly used. You should make sure to unplug the water cooler before cleaning anything. You can put together a cleaning solution of a tablespoon of bleach added to every gallon of water you use. Using this solution on a sponge, you can clean the inner surface of the Oasis water coolers, where the bottles connect. You can let it sit for about 5 minutes before you rinse off the solution. You can do this by filling the reservoir with water about 4 times and flushing it out the tap. It's important to take care of cleaning the drip tray as well, as the moisture left there can breed bacteria. It can be removed in order to make cleaning easier. You'll want to clean it in the bleach solution as well; then, rinse it off and dry it before your put it back. If you don't go through water bottles quickly, it's still good to change them every few days because water that just sits within the bottle can leave more residue on the walls and more of a buildup of bacteria. Don't let one bottle sit there for days, make sure it's fresh for your employees or your family. Oasis water coolers are a great addition to any home or office, but they just need to be properly cared for. A clean water cooler means no sickness, fresh water, and happy people. They are great investments that will save you money in the long run. Be good to your water cooler and it will be good to you!
