With more music being downloaded illegally bands are increasingly relying on the revenue they receive by selling merchandise. If your band is trying to make it in the harsh and unforgiving world of music you should consider ordering some t shirts with professional contact screen printing. Too many bands rely on do it yourself, homemade t shirts. Frankly, that look is passé. Ask any concert goer how many poorly screen printed t shirts and hoodies they have. The answer will be upwards of four. If you want your bands promo products to stand out you are going to need more than t shirts you screen printed in your friend's basement. The profit margins for merchandise can be very high for you and your band. Don't let overpriced productions costs eat into your band's revenue. You may be thinking "How do I create an awesome band logo?" Well if you are in a band chances are at least one of your band members has a girlfriend or boyfriend who fancies themselves an artist. You should ask them to whip something up for you. It will benefit you as a band and them as a visual artist. If there is no artistic talent in your band, consider tapping into your fan base for help. Post a call for submission to your band's website and Facebook page. Ask fans to submit their ideas for a band logo and t shirt design. Then just watch the submission role in. Chances are there will be something usable in the bunch.
