Photo Quality Paper For Quality A Photo Taker

By : Mark Etinger    I had a friend in high school that was good at pretty much everything. Didn't everyone have a friend like that? No matter what, she would always excel. She got good grades, was a great athlete, could sing like a bird, and played the clarinet better than anyone in our area. She went to college and majored in music and did very well! But I never saw her take to something as quickly, as expertly, and as well as when she got her first digital SLR camera. She was an overnight professional photographer taking pictures of everything from weddings to senior portraits, from landscapes to candid shots of her boyfriend's band. She seemed happiest when she was behind the lens and soon, she left music all together and made photography her business. In a few short years she made her way from a small little business to a state wide, award winning photographing success. But it wasn't enough for her to simply take these extraordinary photos; she wanted to start selling the prints of her great work as well. She set herself up in a studio, got herself some professional photo paper, and began printing. I think she went through four different printers until she found one she liked and I have no idea how many iterations of photo quality paper she went through before settling on the best one for her.She was very hard to please; she had to have a printer that could make the images as clear as when she saw them through her camera lens. As a perfectionist, she experimented with printers until she realized that the printer might not be the problem, her professional photo paper might need to be upgraded as well! She started using all different types of paper and might have tried as many as are on the market before she finally settled on luster photo paper. She said this paper made the pictures look even better than when she took them. Now she takes photos for weddings all up and down the east coast. She takes photos of families, animals, and cars. But my favorite of her photo genres is her landscapes. Being from Western Pennsylvania, there's never a time of year that the mountains aren't strikingly beautiful. As a matter of fact, I have one of her beautiful photo prints hanging in my living room. It was printed by her of course on her amazing set up in her studio.
