Some are even customizable, so you can add the person\'s name or a funny slogan. Another important piece of safety apparel that makes a great gift is boots. People are always dropping things on their feet, or stepping on nails. Keeping your feet protected is important, because they are so likely to get damaged. I don\'t build anything and I am constantly battering my feet by kicking or stepping on things. A good pair of steel toed boots or other type of protective footwear is good because it keeps the feet safe and it can be worn as piece of clothing. It is a multi-purpose gift and as with the hard hats you have a number of choices so you can find a pair of boots that the person will like and will also serve as a piece of safety apparel.
Another piece of industrial safety gear you may want to consider is protective gloves. Gloves are another piece of safety apparel that is highly multi-functional. They can be worn when wielding a hammer, using ropes or chains, and doing other handy tasks. They also prevent ugly calluses from forming on the hands. Although these gifts may seem pedestrian to most people, anyone who has made a hobby of building things will be happy to get them. Their family will also be happy to know they are that much safer when they talk about their next project. Often people get so excited about starting a new project that they neglect to get the proper safety gear.
