There seems to be so much talk in the media these days about home make overs. With countless T.V shows, magazines, and websites devoted to home make overs, it seems like everybody is re-decorating their homes. Re-decorating your home can be a daunting task and can entail anything from moving around some furniture to a complete re-structuring of your house. A great way to kick off a home makeover project is by re-tiling your kitchen. You can use glass mosaic tiles, subway glass tiles, and a host of other tiles to really change the feel of your kitchen. If you are thinking of also redoing other aspects of your kitchen, use the mosaic tile pattern or other tile patterns to guide your design scheme and choices. With mosaic tile pattern or other sort of tile setting the color theme you can build your theme out form the kitchen. Get drapes, furniture, and other fun accessories to go in your living room and dining room. That way when people move through your home into the kitchen they will see you design at work. Starting with the kitchen mosaic tiles or other forms of tile you can get a much stronger sense of what the aesthetics behind your makeover will be. If you also want to make over a bathroom, then you have a choice. You can either stick with the theme have generated using your kitchen mosaic tiles, or you can do something completely different. Think of the bathroom as its own little project if you want. It is, after all, its own little secluded space and it is not the first thing people see when they enter your home, so feel free to have some fun with it. Glass subway tiles or glass mosaic tiles look great in any bathroom. You can also use them to accessorize with your shower curtains, towels, and other bathroom items. People will be thrilled when they get up to use the bathroom and find themselves in a space with a completely different color and design scheme than the rest of your house. If you are re-doing a private bathroom with glass bathroom tiles, you can theme it in accordance with your bedroom. That way your bedroom and bathroom become your own little sanctuary.
