Getting the Most Out of Your Ad Campaign

[Valid RSS feed]  Category Rss Feed - http://www.nextlevelarticles.com/rss.php?rss=24

The key to any visual ad campaign is repetition. This is true if you're advertising around your city or town or at your local trade show. A variety of large format banners, double sided banners, and other forms of visual communication are a great way to get your message across or at the very least raise consciousness about your product or service.

This advice may seem trite, but it is tried and true. People may see your ads and call upon the good or service you provide even months after seeing your ad. These things have a way of getting in people's heads and staying there. My parents still remember ad campaigns and jingles from when they were growing up.

When it comes to actually designing the banner, there are many freelance designers who can whip something wonderful up on Photoshop in just a few hours. Or you could use a simple online template and add in your company's colors and logo. There is a good chance someone in your company has some basic design skills or at the very least knows someone with design skills.

Giving away something with the company logo or "swag" also helps. People like free things, even something as simple as a pen or a stress ball for their desk. You can have hundreds of these items potentially made for little cost. Even if only one in even 100 people who pick up your trinket actually employee your services or consume your goods, these swag items pay for themselves.

Make sure the aesthetic of your banners matches the look of your store or booth. The color scheme (even if it is one color) is going to be an important part of the visual connection you want people to make with your company. This is another way of getting a campaign using large format banners, or any banners to do the most for your business.

If you live in a town or city and are running a campaign using banners you may want to find targets or locations where you think your banners will have the most impact. Do you offer a service students may be interested in? Why not buy some large format banner space by campus. What if your company helps other factories? Why not advertise in your city's most industrial area. Chances are you have a limited budget and you do not want to waste your money, so use targeting to get the most out of your banners.
