The holidays are a stressful time. Not only do I have to worry about impressing my future in-laws and cooking and throwing a good party but finding the perfect gifts for everyone on my list! There are a lot of people on my gift giving list. There are probably a lot of people on yours too. Are you flipping through catalogues and magazines looking for the perfect gift? Try checking out a few deal websites as well. My father, who is a technology buff, is going to be getting a great new tablet for Christmas. I found it through electronic deals on a website! He's going to be very glad to get it. My mother has been hinting heavily to her boyfriend that she would like a white gold bracelet. I'm not sure he's picking up on the hints even though she wrote it down on post-it notes and put them on the bathroom mirror complete with the picture of the one she wants from a sale paper. I really hope he gets the not-so-subtle hint because I found a fantastic jewelry deal online for a pair of earrings that will go perfectly with the bracelet. I also think that if he doesn't get the hint, pretty soon my mother's entire house will be plastered with pictures of this bracelet. My sister has pretty eclectic tastes and wants "something fun" for Christmas. While this is such a broad topic, deal websites can help. They often have a miscellaneous category of items or a few categories that are just for fun. I could buy her a remote controlled helicopter, or a set of nesting dolls that depict all of the past Presidents of the United States. I'm not sure what she'd like so I'll probably shop around until I find a great online shopping deal that I can't pass up. My brother and I have had a pact since before I can remember that our gift to each other was NOT getting each other a gift. This way we never have to worry about what to get one another and don't need to worry about over or under spending the other. For years, this has been our pact. But this year I may break it. There are just so many great deal websites out there that I'm sure I can find something he'll love for a great price. So, now that my Christmas shopping is done I can sort of relax; bring on the turkey and the in-laws!
