With the holidays in full swing, people are already shopping like mad, trying to find a gift for everyone on their list. The hustle and bustle of most stores this time of year is bad enough, but actually finding something for everyone is the hardest part. It tends to be hard to shop for younger and older folks on your list. It can be hard to know what people so far out of your age range want. For older and retired people, I would suggest a book of brain teaser puzzles, Sudoku, or crosswords. It will keep them entertained for hours (since you have a lot of time on your hands when you retire) and it will keep them sharp mentally. It's a known fact the elder persons who engage in mentally stimulating activates, anything from chess to brain teaser puzzles, to playing music, will keep help fight the effects of aging on the brain and stave off diseases like dementia. You could also go with yoga equipment for your elderly friends or relatives. Its great exercise, especially for the aging body, because it is so low impact. It also lowers cholesterol and stress hormones leading to a longer life and a greater quality of life. It also aids in joint health and prevents loss of muscular strength. If there are some youngsters on your list you're trying to shop for, there are a number of toys you can get depending on the child. If the youngster likes puzzles, art, or building things they will love a 3d wooden puzzle. They can take the time to build it then they can paint it and have it as a cool decoration. The puzzles come in number of shapes, sizes, and subjects so you are sure to find one that is age or interest appropriate. For the young animal lover, there are Hansa toy stuffed animals. These stuffed animals are not only cute and cuddly; they are a very accurate description of the animal. For an extra touch, throw in some information about the animal itself. Or let your budding veterinarian read the Wikipedia page for the animal herself and watch as her eyes light up. These are just a few ideas; you can go online and find a lot of other things. It certainly beats trying to do any shopping in a store this time of year. Good luck finding something for everyone on your list, and happy holidays!
