Designer Jeans Finish Men's Wardrobe

Men often wonder how to become fashion conscious without changing into a metro-sexual fashion hound. Everyone wants to look good, men included. With a few key elements in a wardrobe such as designer jeans, even a man can look like he's well put together.

The first thing to remember when it comes to men's jeans is to stick to darker colours and washes. This means the darker navy blues and near blacks are the best. It's a good idea to avoid jeans that have any flashy designs on them.

A few button up shirts, especially a classic white one that fits as if it was tailored to fit, can be added to a man's closet easily. This type of shirt can be paired with jeans very easily. Mens clothing doesn't have to be traditional but remember the white shirt rule. One good white shirt that fits well can make all the difference.

Mens dress shoes are very important. However, they should always match a man's belt and should not stray from the colours of black or brown. The same is true for socks. A man should not be wearing athletic socks with dress shoes. The socks and shoes need to match the situation and the style, and should both be in dark neutral colours with no designs.

Suits for men can come in lots of different and varying colours. For a man to make a good impression, he should stay away from anything that is brighter than brown or makes him look like a candy wrapper or barbershop singer. A thin pinstripe is definitely permitted but a suit is best if it is simple and formal. The most important thing is for it to fit well and not look too short or too tight.

Many men want to be comfortable before they want to make a good impression. People often feel that their attitude will outweigh any fashion faux pas they might be making. However, once someone starts staring at a man's clothing or pointing out the obvious mistakes, any man is guaranteed to start feeling anything but comfortable. There are other ways to maintain a relaxed attitude while dressing well.

A good way to stay comfortable while dressing well is to start from the bottom up. Men's underwear can be very comfortable and no one will see them, so a man can make any colour choice or style he wants in this regard. A big no-no is to wear athletic gear outside of sports activities. Unless the event or activity requires it, men should stay in business casual clothing if not formal gear.

The number one rule to remember is to dress as if a man is going to be seen on television. If it's possible to add dress or designer jeans to an outfit by pairing them with a good set of shoes or a shirt, then everything should be just fine. It's always best to think that every impression is the first impression, and to dress accordingly.
