Choosing Paper For Your Xerox Machine

When you are making copies of documents in an office you do not want to sacrifice the quality for quantity. You must always factor in the type of document you plan to create and the technology you are using. In other words you need to be selective when you choose paper for your copy machine.

The image quality and printing will determine on whether or not you are using the correct specialty paper for the task. There is no reason to feel limited with the multitude of options available to you when it comes to printing supplies.

Multi-use sheets are affordable, making them the best option for multiple copies of in-house files. They are good for big projects that do not require any special attention, like photocopying memos. They perform adequately on all types of equipment with reasonable inkjet printing quality. They also have fairly good toner adhesion for Xerox copy machines.

Laser paper is great when you need a smooth running process. The sheets have unique qualities that prevent jamming or curling. They can withstand heat which makes them optimal for a copy machine or laser printer. They're good for large projects. They are also a bit pricey, though because they weigh more and have a high brightness. They are perfect for color projects and will give better results than the standard types.

Recycled paper is ingenious if you take responsibility for the environment. It is the best way to offset your carbon footprint. Since the idea of making copies is sort of ironic when it comes to green initiatives, the least you can do is buy 50 to 100% recycled materials and then make an effort to recycle those pages again once they are no longer needed.

Color stock is a smart move when you need to specify or organize data and make it easy to find or reference. You can print all documents of a certain type on one color, thus making finding it in binders and folders later much quicker. There is an entire spectrum from which to choose so you are not going to run out of options if you expand categories when you have new Xerox copy projects.
You should take a look at your copy machine and its manual to determine the best compatible paper for it. It will normally accept several different kinds of stock but you might as well double check so that you can optimize the results and look the most professional possible.
