When it's Saturday night and you're with your significant other and you still don't have any plans, watch free full movies online. But don't just waste your time watching any old new release or free documentaries online, choose a classic instead. That way you know you're going to be watching a flick that has always been great instead of this month's trendy film, which more often than not, won't win any Oscars. You can't go wrong with a Hitchcock flick. Take Notorious for example. One of Hitchcock's best, this 1946 film is about a young woman's crack-up after her traitorous father is sentenced to twenty years in prison. Part love story and part espionage thriller, Hitchcock's scenarios and camera work make this film a suspenseful masterpiece. And with Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman in the lead roles, the acting is superb. Many young people think the classics are boring, that they won't be able to relate because the film is in black and white. How wrong they are. These classics are called that because they're some of the best films of all time. They offer insight into a different time, while examining universal themes of love and lust, adventure and treachery. Westerns are for a certain mood, but man are they fun. If you've never seen a John Wayne movie make a point to do so - the man has an airport named after him for crying out loud! The Searchers is a masterpiece, one of the best Westerns and one of the best films of all time (number twelve actually), as noted by the AFI. The Trail Beyond and Stagecoach are also must-see films. Go where your tastes dictate, especially if you prefer a genre such as romance or mystery. Just scroll through until you recognize a name, chances are you know it because its reputation is so esteemed. And the best thing about watching free movies online is that if they are boring, you can just turn them off and watch another one. No fee incurred. No harm, no foul. When you watch free new movies online, you may have to sit through a few ads, but hey, that's much better than getting in the car to go to the video store and paying four dollars a movie as we did in the old days. So start buffing up your film knowledge from classics to Westerns to free indie films to free documentaries online. The internet has changed the way we watch, all for the better.
