Outsourcing customer support to other countries will save a lot of money for the company who rely on their customer support to please their customers. There are some companies who hire customer support from countries like India and the Philippines; however, a lot are also looking to other countries like Ireland. The difference between the countries is the price, India and the Philippines are the lowest in the globe, Ireland is a little bit more expensive. The decision to hire is in the hands of the company and they will have the choice to rely on countries who can speak a foreign language well or a country who already speaks the language. The difference in accents are evident, the quality, well, that really depends on the center that is hired.

First, review the company that you want to hire. Find out if they are capable of communicating in the language that you want to serve. Choose a center or several centers from the three different countries. India may be the cheapest, but complaints of accent difficulties are getting the attention, so go for the Philippines, not as cheap but have better speakers and have more experience in communicating in English, they are also known for their accents to be understandable and they are patient. Ireland is new, but they are a little more expensive and some complaints again of accents. Test them out, choose the one you like and then talk about prices later.

Second step, research on the companies who use the center that you have chosen before signing any contract with them. Read about or talk to those companies and find out the pros and cons about hiring the company. Weigh your options. If you need to shift to another company, do so.

Third, ask for copies of the scripts for the calls. Review and find out if you like the way they work. The service company will only be too willing to give the supporting data that could land your contract. Be thorough in your research. If it needs time and several companies to compare, do so.

Fourth, once you have finally chosen the service company, go over with the company representative on your tasks that you want done. Make sure that they know and are clear on your expectations. Talk to them about their quality of service and how they handle difficult calls.

Last, review the contracts before accepting a partnership with the service company of your choice. Both parties must agree to what is good for both. Do not expect that all will be to your benefit. Remember, the service may be cheap, but it is a business.
