When you are young you think that your family is always going to be right there. As you get older and siblings get married or move away you start to realize how important it is to stay in touch. Celebrating the holidays always reminds us that we always need to make time for one another. Of course, if you live in an urban setting and your relative does not, you probably have limited ways to travel to and from. Many city dwellers sell their cars in order to save money and avoid the hassle. But, that is why we can always lease a car. Leasing a car gives you a better deal in many cases, rather than purchasing. Leasing is not car rental. A car rental is for temporary travel only. A lease finances the use of a vehicle for an extended period. Leasing is a wonderful option for families that have other priorities. When you lease you pay a portion of the vehicle's cost. You make monthly payments for its use. At the end of your lease you have to make a decision: keep the car or return it. If you decide to keep the vehicle you pay the remaining balance for it, at its depreciated resale value. If you do not want to keep it you may return it and the loan is considered completed. Benefits include the ability to lease new cars. You get to pick the one you want that the dealership provides. You have it for as long as the contract states and you know exactly what kind of condition it will be in. This is going to be your car for the remainder of your lease. Leasing is great for people who will be using the car for travel occasionally but not necessarily all the time. Because it is not paid in full you have saved money upon getting it. You also do not have to fear as much when it comes to vehicle maintenance because you will only have it for a brief period of time, not several years. It is great for times when you need to travel and you enjoy the comfort of having your own vehicle, not last minute luck of the draw as is the case with rentals. Holidays, birthdays, weddings, and other big occasions out of state will cost less when you drive as opposed to fly or take the railroad. No matter your reasons for choosing a lease, you will find it a relief. Always having a guaranteed form of travel is a reassurance that public transportation cannot buy.
