Luxury Watches With Versatility

Before cell phones watches were the cat's pajamas, they were classy accessories to adorn our wrists and keep us posted on the time. Technology in our world sure has changed hasn't it? Actually, not so much. Watches are still very popular today. They are going strong and will continue to for years all because they are being repurposed.

Luxury watches in the 21st century are more than just a timepiece, they are designer accessories with versatile features to fit the lifestyles of their owners. Older trends are coming back into style due to a vintage revival and new designs are frontrunning a revolution in convenience.

So the next pertinent thing to discuss is what watch trends are headlining the fashion world. Both men's and women's watches now feature oversized faces. This has a lot to do with the fact that a bigger face can fit more information. The chronograph allows room for timekeeping, date and month listing, and a stopwatch among other things. Some of them are manual dial operated, others have touch display. These watches are meant to compensate for a lack of cell phone during sporting endeavors, like running or diving. They can provide you with enough information to keep you going. Popular men's watches tend to be more modern. Polls show that men from their 20s to mid-forties do not want watches that resemble those of their fathers. Watches with navigation are still going strong, however. The key to a man's heart when it comes to watch is if it is made of a strong titanium or stainless steel. Some gold watches are doing well on the market, too, but stainless steel banded watches with crystal movement are the current watches to keep an eye on. Racing watches, both car and motorcycle inspired, are also favorable. They have much sleeker designs, bright colors, and bold design features. Expect those to sell well during the holiday shopping season.

As for women's watches, bracelets and bangles are all the rage. Women want watches that double as designer jewelry. That way, they get the best of both worlds. Expect to see a lot of wide-banded designs made of rose gold. Leather wrist wraps are a trendy alternative to the metal bangle, and can be paired with gold bracelets for a completed look. Cuter designs include rubber and polyeurathane watches. These vintage-inspired pieces resemble the fads from the 80s and 90s. They're not exactly dressy, but they're fun.

So, if you're on the hunt for your next timepiece, now you know what you're looking for. Enjoy the 21st century.
