You will want to use a program like Photoshop to create your image in one color, say blue. Then you'll copy the image and paste it as yet another layer, but change the color to something else, like green. You'll want to place it just off of the first image, so you can tell there are two layers. You can move it just down and to the left. Make another copy in yet another color and place it slightly up and to the right. It should give the illusion of a 3D image.

Instead of using stencils that other people may be using and that won't seem original, a custom can be a great way to leave your own personal mark on your designs. You'll need your wholesale blanks, a scalpel, a spray mount, and spray paint.
You can create the stencil online through any paint program. Remember when you create your image that you need to keep in mind what lines will be cut out, so that the image comes out properly and doesn't have holes in it. Once you have your image, you can print it on a thick blank card so it will work as a stencil. Cut out the stencil image with your scalpel. Before you spray paint the design, you may want to fold back and tape the rest of the shirt so you don't get extra paint on areas other than the chest. It helps to cover every area of the shirt you do not want painted with newspaper or any other covering. With your spray paint and spray mount, you'll create a great custom image from your design!
