Raymond Weil Watches For The Fall

The air in New York is starting to get crisp, the coolness is settling in. Summer is about to bow out gracefully while fall gears up for another chilly season. It's time to start packing up the shorts and tank tops and looking to our fall fashions. The jackets can once again come out of closets, along with the boots and the long sleeve shirts. But let us not forget about our favorite fall accessories, designer watches. Actually, designer watches should be your year round accessories but it is time to shy away from the watches of the summer.

The summer was all about watches with bright, fun, and funky colors. It was about the wow factor and the pizazz. Now is the time to tone it down, to match our watches to our darker colored outfits. Burnt colors are in this season and of course as long as you match the colors of the changing leaves, you'll fit right in. Black and brown leather straps will be a classic choice at any time, but if you're looking for something shiny and new, expect gunmetal and brass colored bands. Fashion forward thinking is about ditching the old and coming up with completely new designs and styles.

For women, choose a Movado watch with an over sized face. Who wants to wear petite and dainty anymore? Women's watches are looking more and more like the men's watches and that's okay with me. I want watches that speak to my generation and not my grandmother's. Women are ditching the diamond encrusted, yellow gold watches and instead choosing the chronographs, the sporty watches. We want our watches to be just as bold and dynamic.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of skeleton watches that show the inner mechanisms of the watch. It's mostly been for men's watches but I wouldn't be surprised if I came across women's Raymond Weil watches with it too. It's incredibly popular and it's not hard to see why. It's simply cool looking. It's different and people just plain like it. More unique designs are popping up all across the board. Focus is no longer just circular or rectangular watches. They're coming in a variety of shapes, sizes, and designs. The more funky the design, the more popular it will be.

But as much as we love to see innovative creations, we love to admire the past. Expect plenty of vintage designs that will appeal to both the young and the old alike. Older generations will take comfort in styles they once wore and hipsters will appreciate the throwback to the "olden days."

This fall be bold and daring with your Movado watch, or whichever designer brand floats your boat. Stunning metals, futuristic designs, and big faces will keep you in check next season.
