Fine Watches and Other Accessories Every Woman Should Own

Accessories are just as important as the clothing you wear. They can dress up or dress down any outfit and make your clothes pop with panache. There are many accessories out there to fit everyone's sense of style and personality, but there are some items that just need to be in every woman's wardrobe, no matter how you dress.

A simple pearl necklace is a great place to start. Of course I don't expect you to have real pearls, but it's not about the price. It's about the look. A pearl necklace can dress up just about any outfit. You don't even have to wear it with dressy clothes. It can look cute with a simple summer dress or blouse. Another piece of jewelry to add to the collection is a statement necklace. A statement necklace does just what the name implies: it makes people stop dead in their tracks and admire the jewelry around your neck. The necklace should reflect your own personal taste and it doesn't have to be large and lavish. Let it be your "go-to" necklace that you can wear with many outfits.

Two items that should be in both women and men's wardrobes are belts and fine watches. You should have at least one black and one brown belt to go with a variety of your clothes. Not only are they functional, they're fashionable. Even if you love bright colored or unique belts, have at least one plain, leather belt. You can often find belts that are black on one side and brown on the other. As for watches, invest in both a casual and dress watch. Don't get cheap though. You want quality brands like a Michael Kors watch or Stuhrling watches. Even if you don't need to know the time, it's a good accessory to adorn your wrist.

Black tights should already be in every woman's drawer. Black tights can be worn for either casual or special occasions. Not many women wear sheer stockings anymore, but sometimes you want that bold look. Both teens and adults can appreciate a good pair of black opaque tights. They're functional and they'll make your skirt look hot, plain and simple.

Besides shoes, women really love handbags. Even if you don't enjoy carrying around a handbag, a leather handbag will come in useful eventually. Purchase a bag in a neutral color so you can coordinate it with several outfits. You don't need a $500 bag. Just a bag that's functional and looks great.

With fine watches on your wrists, the right necklaces, and leather handbags, you'll be ready to take on the world. Or at least, you'll look good while you attempt to.
