When you go out at night you want to be able to turn heads, but you also want to be comfortable. This season it's important to wear clothes that fit you and look tailored. Not only is it fashionable to wear a more tailored cut, it also looks nicer, so you can glide past the velvet ropes with ease. This goes especially with shirts. Since we still haven't moved back to a tucked fashion, it's important to wear shirts with cropped tails that aren't meant to be tucked in. Otherwise whenever a breeze blows you'll look like a parachute. Add a lightweight blazer and immediately look more formal. Once you're in the club, push up the sleeves a bit to look a bit more rock 'n' roll. And while we condone ironing and wearing well pressed clothing, you don't have to worry about all that when wearing a linen suit; it's made to be wrinkly. Skip the socks. They can be extra hot during the summer, and wearing your pants with a cuff or two will show everyone that you're cooler than a cucumber. White or other colored jeans or tailored camo pants are cool too, and you can never go wrong with some dark denim. Accessories like a fedora and Bulova watches are great. They are subtle enough to wear again and again, and yet they get attention because they're a personal touch. If you were wearing sunglasses during the day, hang them from your collar rather than risk breaking them by putting them in your pocket. During the day, don't feel bad about rocking a tank top. It's a great way to get a tan and break away from the humdrum of blue, black, and brown. Instead, think red, yellow, orange, or white. When it comes to your hair you have a few options. You can choose a traditional cut with a side part. You can go short on the sides and long on top, otherwise known as the Ronson. Or you can buzz it all off. There's something rebellious about it, especially when it's not just the preemptive balding buzz. And just because it's hot, doesn't mean you can't grow some scruff. A bit of a beard can be refreshing during the summer months, as long as you keep it trim. When you feel cool, you'll look cool, and vice versa. So after taking these tips into account, think about your favorite ways to look your best.
