Panasonic Cordless Phones Aren't Dead Yet

There was an article out recently indicating that more and more people are relying on their cellphones for everyday use, and not just when they are out of the house. A study revealed that many people under the age of 35 don't even own a landline and rely solely on their cellphones for all their phone calls. With everyone trying to save a buck and the cost of living always on the rise, it's not hard to see why young people would want to cut out the traditional home phone.

However, there are still many benefits of using Panasonic cordless phones versus cellphones at home. The main advantage of a traditional phone is the call quality. All the cellphone companies spend so much money on advertising, comparing their dropped call rates and the quality of calls. But you just can't beat the clear quality of a landline. You never hear about dropped calls from Panasonic cordless phones! The major phone companies have a good handle on making the landline work just fine.

Cordless phones have been around for quite some time and are not difficult to make. You can expect low rates when purchasing a new phone, even ones that come with an answering machine and plenty of features. Unless you're going for those newer home phones that connect to the internet, you won't be spending nearly as much as you would on a smartphone. Often you can find a set of four phones for around $100, which is a pretty fantastic deal.

Additionally, you don't have to worry about wasting your minutes on Panasonic cordless phones. If you're going to be using your cellphone to make all of your calls, you can expect to run through those monthly minutes fairly quickly and you will have to choose a more expensive plan so you don't get hit with extra charges at the end of the month. Many landline companies have fairly simple plans that are easy to afford. International calls are typically the only extra service you really have to pay a lot more for.

With cordless, you don't have to worry about constantly recharging your phone. Cordless phones don't take too long to charge and they last for quite some time. They are not like cellphones which typically have to recharge at least once a day. It's also nice to just keep your personal life separate. Giving my cellphone number out to businesses is not something I want to do. I'd rather keep my cellphone for friends and family.

Panasonic cordless phones are inexpensive and easy to use, not to mention there are no scary statistics about them being harmful. Keep the cordless at home and save the cellphone for when you're out of the house.
