The temperatures are high and it's time to dress accordingly. This summer there are a few styles that are making serious comebacks as well as some that are continuing to splash. When it comes to shoes, you can choose different colors than black or brown. Redder or tanner browns are popular, and grayer blacks are too. There are many styles and other in-between colors worth consideration too. Don't think that going sockless is only for flip-flops and boat shoes - there are plenty of ways to give your ankles a breather, from hidden socks to no socks at all. And remember that if you're going to wear flip-flops or sandals, make sure your feet are well manicured and attractive. Never wear socks with sandals. Seasonal suits are another good way to stay cool. You can wear linen, and it doesn't have to be flat-pressed. Seersucker is classic. Light beiges are good too, especially for guys with fairer skin. For those with more olive-based skin tones, you can get away with suits of a yellower hue. Ties should be simple, with diagonal stripes or polka dots, and can include a tie bar. Pocket squares are another resurgent men's fashion staple that you can feel free to get creative with. Colored denim has been cool for a couple of summers now and it can definitely add a touch of funk to any wardrobe. Think about giving your pant legs a couple of cuff rolls too in order to make a statement and let your lower legs breathe. Luxury watches such as Tag Heuer watches and a Wittnauer watch are great ways to show some wrist-style. You will be able to keep the time more easily than fishing in your pocket, and you will look great while doing it. Cut your hair and use some product. A side part is a popular style that evokes the Mad Men era and not the cutesy little kid haircut it might have a few years ago. Big hair is not cool anymore. Mustaches aren't either. Beards are for winter, but are acceptable; scruff and shadow is cool, and going clean-shaven is classic. Eyewear is important during the summer months. But don't think that wraparound sunglasses are the way of the future. Instead, we're looking to the past to protect our eyes with different styled wayfarers and aviators. If you really want to make a statement, choose a different color than black or silver. These fashion tips will keep you looking fresh in the office or the backyard. Go shopping already and feel better about how you're dressed.
