For thousands of years, teeth have been a sign of breeding. In the film, 'Spartacus,' the hero is picked from among hundreds of slaves due to his gorgeous teeth. He goes on to rise from the ranks and become a star gladiator. His teeth were a propitious sign. There are plenty of reasons for this. Bad dental hygiene signals problems down the line, such as heart disease and nutrition issues. Crooked teeth also mean bad gums. Bacteria have a much easier time hiding in the crevices of gnarled teeth than straight teeth. That means cavities and pain soon to come. Plus, when your teeth are straight they align better, which means an easier time of talking and chewing. There will be no uneven pressure where your teeth are crooked if you have a Medicaid orthodontist, and no pain in your facial muscles or jaw. But there are plenty of other reasons why straight teeth are important, and not necessarily health-based ones. First impressions are often based on smiles. As a result, those with bad teeth come off a little lower in our esteem, whether consciously or not. Straight teeth are simply more attractive than crooked ones. And that makes it easier to get a job, get married, and live a happier life. Wisdom teeth are another worry for many people. These molars come into your mouth in your late teens or early twenties and can crowd your front teeth. . Because these teeth often come in sideways, they are problematic to the rest of the mouth and are usually removed by oral surgery. The original use of these teeth was to grind plant tissue. There is not much use for them anymore due to a different diet and a smaller jaw than the ones our ancestors had. The word for evolutionarily useless structures, such as the appendix, is vestigial. Don't be at a disadvantage in life - choose a Medicaid orthodontist if you can't afford braces. If your teeth are only slightly misaligned, Invisalign may be a better option. It allows you to take out your retainer when you eat and change the mold every few weeks so your teeth move into a straight line. Straight teeth are a health benefit and a social aide, but everyone's teeth are different. The best way to determine if Medicaid braces are right for you is by visiting your orthodontist. When you have straight teeth you have more self confidence and better oral hygiene. Make an appointment today!
