This summer there are some new styles on the rise. You want to look like you just stepped out of a GQ magazine, right? So read on to update your closet. You should have a pair of sandals or flip flops you can wear when hanging out on the weekend. Leather is better, and remember that no matter where you work you can't get away with wearing flip flops to the office. Going sockless isn't only for boat shoes and flip flops. You can get away without wearing socks to work, especially if your shoes are leather. Add some talcum powder to prevent stickiness, and when you're not at the office and you're wearing pants, give a cuff roll or two for some style. Speaking of pants, a hot item this summer is colored denim. From gray to yellow to blue to red, buying a colorful pair of jeans will make your wardrobe a tad funky, yet refined. There's something country clubby about wearing summer jeans, especially when matched with a cotton sports jacket. When it comes to wrist wear, there are the classic watch brands to choose from; specifically Rolex, Cartier and Piaget. Don't settle, if you're going to invest in an everyday wear watch, make sure it's something you love. A Rolex Submariner is a classic that never goes out of style. Summer suits, from seersucker to linen, are a big hit because they are airy and lightweight. Think about exploring tan, and for the fairer among us, may we suggest the light khaki range? The olive-skinned can get into yellower hues if they like. And remember, you don't have to keep your linen suit well pressed and ironed. If you're going to the beach and need a new bathing suit, look for styles that steer clear of the Hawaiian board shorts of years past. A shorter suit, perhaps paisley, or even a Speedo is a fine look for the modern man. Pair it with a tank top or a lightweight mesh shirt and you will keep everyone turning heads. When it comes to your hair, short is the cleanest and most professional look. But gone is the fauxhawk inspired style of the late aughties - instead, the side part has returned in a big way. And to make it a little less kindergarteny, don't make the part perfect. These tips will keep you looking stylish and sexy this summer. If you need to refurbish your wardrobe, start shopping, because before you know it, summer will be over.
