Custom Promotional Products For The Seasons

Just like we change our clothes every season to match the weather, businesses need to change their approach to match customers' needs and demands. You wouldn't wear shorts in the winter, would you? Unless of course you live in Florida! But would you want to hand out sweatshirts during the summer to potential clients? They have no use for it now. They'll toss it in the back of their closest and maybe if you're lucky they'll pull it back out for the winter and give your company a call. But chances are they'll be curious as to why you handed it out in June to begin with and maybe your company doesn't have it together.

For the summer, ditch any promotional items that have to do with clothing. People are currently thinking about just how little clothing they can get away with and still look professional. Instead opt for fun and useful items like promotional Frisbees or promotional water bottles. In the warm months, maybe more people are riding their bikes to work to save some cash and would like to have promotional bike bottles instead. Not only does it promote your company, it promotes exercise and green living. Bags and totes are great year round, but in the summer people will be using an imprinted tote bag to carry items to the beach.

As the weather cools off, hoodies, sweaters, and rain jackets are back on the table. People love items that have a purpose and items they can enjoy using. Pens are handy, but everyone reaches a point where they are a little tired of getting them and want something better. T-shirts and long sleeve shirts are also a great idea for the fall. Fall and spring tend to be the rainy seasons, so umbrellas work well too and they're probably the item I enjoy the most. Everyone can always use an extra umbrella to keep at work or home.

For the winter, it's all about keeping warm and toasty. Promotional mugs and thermoses are perfect items. Everyone will be sipping on hot cocoa or coffee to stay warm. Heavier coats and sweatshirts are ideal. Many promotional item companies sell scarves, hats, and gloves. Hand out the individual items or give them as a set. You can never have too many sets of gloves.

Keep in mind that as the seasons change you can also hand out items that are specific to certain holidays. Patriotic items work well for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Anything with red is for Valentine's Day and green for St. Patrick's Day. Customer and clients will appreciate all the thought that went into your items and will know this is a company that knows how to market.
