When setting up your staff with necessities, there is a lot to think about. You need to get every new employee set up with all they need, from company logo shirts to proper IDs. It's important to have all these things set up way before you start the hiring process so that everything runs smoothly. Every employee is going to need a full set of uniforms. You may want to look into logo embroidery to not only advertise on the uniform, but to keep everyone matching as well. You also want to have company logo shirts to mark as your property. It's a lot more cost effective to have employees who leave the company hand back in their items and most people won't keep a shirt with a store logo to use for any other reason. Logo embroidery can be done on all sorts of items, from t-shirts to fleece so you can be covered for all types of weather. Custom logo hats are great for both hot days to keep the sun out the eyes, as well as colder weather to keep warm. You'll want to issue multiple shirts at the very least to your staff so they don't have to wash the same uniform over and over before each work day. You also need to get identification together. Whether it's for clocking in, getting into the stock room or just so you have them on file, ID cards can be really important to a company. You'll also want to look into name tags for any sort of business that deals with interacting with people. In retail it's a must. You want customers to feel like they can relate to someone and call them by name when they need help. It also makes complimenting an employee by name easy if they so deserve it. Make sure that you are clear with employees about items they may need to provide themselves, like shoes, belts, or anything else they may need to complete their look. Give clear guidelines so everyone shows up looking fairly the same and not with a plethora of different footwear that may be distracting. Once you have everything set for your employees you'll be ready to give them exactly what they need for the first day of work and beyond. A little investment goes a long way in keeping everyone looking uniform and having your business run smoothly.
