You spend a great deal of your time at the office. 40 hours, sometimes even more of your whole week is dedicated to your space at work. And you want to make it as homey and comfortable as possible. No one wants to sit at a barren desk. That's why looking into inexpensive picture frames may be just the thing to spruce up the cubicle and make you feel more comfortable. Because the more at ease you are, the more work you'll get done. Consider your desk space. If you have a large desk and a lot of space, you may not want to decorate with just one wooden frame. Utilize your space if you can. If you are in a smaller cubicle, than just one may work perfectly without everything looking too cluttered. You want to make sure your frames are placed so that not only you enjoy them but others can see them clearly as well. You should also stick with inexpensive picture frames because chances are with all the work you'll be doing you may knock it over once in a while. Getting a glass frame would be a bad idea. Sticking with wooden frames, which can deal with spills and drops better, will be a safer idea. If you have a cubicle with hard walls, or are allowed to decorate the walls around you, hanging large picture frames would be another nice way of decorating. If your walls aren't hard walls and are a softer fabric or a cork board like material, you may want to forgo regular frames and consider hanging your pictures on a line. Thumb tacks are fine but then you are putting holes in your pictures. If you want to avoid damaging them, look for decorative hanging lines that you can clip your pictures to. Remember of course to place work appropriate pictures in your wooden frames. If your boss is very conservative, you don't want to put in pictures from that wild party a few weeks ago. And you might not want to display yourself in a bathing suit to everyone either. Be aware of the environment you are in and choose the right photos. Portraits of family and friends are perfect and will be sure to brighten your mood when the day gets stressful. Once you get started decorating with pictures, you won't want to stop! So brighten up your cubicle so that every hour you spend is a little bit more enjoyable.
